Glenn Stanley
Originally a New England native, after a couple years of college I decided it was time to head to the sunshine state for a fresh new start. Once here I applied for a job with a temp agency which placed me here at NIS Print. With no printing knowledge I began as a cutter operator, and after a year or so decided to head to night school and take some Mac classes. Shortly after I began working in prepress, 23 years later I am still here.
Personality:
I am as laid back as they come. Very outgoing and sociable.
Strengths:
Being in prepress for over 20 plus years I have seen it all from the beginning Macs to CTP, from pasteup & stripping 4 color negatives to the technology of today.
Position:
I do a little of everything from typesetting to CTP to running all of our color copiers. From layout to finished piece I have my hands on it from the get go till the end. I also am always available to help out in all ways possible from bindery to shipping.
Hobbies:
I am a huge sports fan and enjoy watching any and all sports whether it be golf, football, hockey or even nascar, I love them all. I also love to spend time with my niece and nephew as much as I can.
Something people don’t know about me:
Being that I have long hair everyone seems to think I love hard rock/heavy metal, when in reality I enjoy light/soft rock, maybe it’s just me getting old. Who knows!
